In February one of my jobs was to make safe, an unstable dry stone wall in Grassington. The work involved pulling down a large section of wall and rebuilding it, back bedding the stone on lime mortar.
Hedge laying 2017
The month of January saw me finishing off a 3 year hedge laying contract I had near Skipton. The total length of hedges laid over the 3 year period was 2 miles.The main species of hedge was Hawthorn, this is the second time I have laid these, the previous time was 9 years ago.
